The whole principle behind Horseballs, Ltd. is to keep horses (and other animals) happy. We at Horseballs® are horse owners, too! We own, breed, train, show, and love our horses. We want them to be the happiest, healthiest horses that they can be.

We want the same thing for all horses!

Horseballs® are currently being used by other animals besides horses. We are glad to see that the idea of therapeutic recreation is catching on with the keepers of other species.

There are many llamas, ostriches, emus, and dogs that play with Horseballs®. We know of a donkey farm that swears by Horseballs® and the benefits of therapeutic recreation. There are a few bulls and a bunch of cows, even some pigs, that play with Horseballs®, as well as a few buffalo. We have even heard of a lion, an elephant and a group of chimpanzees that benefit from Horseballs®!

Don't limit Horseballs® to just horses.

We are glad to see that those responsible for the happiness and well-being of other animals are just as caring as horse owners!

The makers of Horseballs® have helped to develop the now understood concept of therapeutic recreation. Horses really do need an outlet for all of their energy.

This is what makes Horseballs® more than merely a toy. Horseballs® provide therapeutic recreation - a healthy way to channel a horse's energy.

If not channeled, that energy can become destructive. Some of the bad habits that confined horses can develop are: cribbing, weaving, windsucking, pawing, and digging; not to mention destroying screens, stalls, doors, walls, and fences!

With a Horseballs®, your horse will leave their water and feed buckets for water and feed! Screens, stalls, doors, and fences will be left alone, too.

Therapeutic recreation for horses

Horseballs® are a physically and mentally challenging therapeutic method of releasing the horse's own energy. Give your horse a Horseball® and he will nose it, kick it, pick it up by the handle and toss it, run and play with it.

Horses no longer run and flee as they had to do many years ago, before domestication. Yet, by design, they still have a lot of energy and instinctively must find ways to release it.
